Item Details
A Franklin Porcelain teapot with floral cups representing each month. The white teapot with colorful peonies and cherry blossoms accenting the surface sits on a round wooden stand. It is marked to the base ‘FP – 1983 FP – Japan’ and features Japanese characters. The twelve cups, all dated 1981 are also marked ‘FP – Japan’. Each footed cup features a sheet describing the flower and month. Examples include a magnolia for May, a pear blossom for August, and a poppy for December. When not in use the twelve cups can be displayed three across in a four-shelf cabinet.
Condition
- light dust, minor marks with age; 0.25" chip to outer rim of one.
