Engraved Sterling Silver Goblets Featuring George Gebelein

A pairing of sterling silver goblets. This selection features a vintage goblet by George Gebelein (established 1909 to c.1950s, Boston, MA). This piece features an engraved coat of arms to the front depicting an armor helmet, three goat heads, and three dots with scrolled foliage and two crossed points at the the top and ‘Getting’ at the base. The goblet is also engraved with a thick lattice band just below the rim. The underside is stamped ‘Gebelein Sterling, Boston’. The lot also includes a goblet engraved with a medallion to the front depicting a tree, crown, and a banner reading, ‘Through’. It is additionally engraved with a thick lattice band just below the rim. The total approximate weight of both goblet is 12.755 ozt.
