A Japanese Yatate inkwell and brush holder. This metal inkwell and brush holder is decorated with ornate and detailed low-relief illustrations of a variety of wildlife. Depicted on the side of the inkwell is a crane, some fish, and with human figures on horses adorning the lid. Piece appears to be unmarked.
