Item Details

A collection of wooden animal figures. Featuring a wooden carving of 1973 Triple Crown winner Secretariat in stride, with his name carved on the top and the signature of the artist, M.E. Brasher, to the front of the wooden base. A second, unnamed thoroughbred depicts a horse standing, with the same artist’s name on the base. Also included is a painted figurine of a blue jay, with the words ‘23205, Blue Jay, In Hong Kong’ on a label to the underside, and a statue of a falcon perched on a branch, signed ‘Elton Henning 1972’ carved to the base.
