Item Details
A hand-colored engraving after a painting by George Moreland titled Shepherds Reposing. This intaglio print depicts two shepherds and their dogs resting in the shade of a thicket of trees while a herd of sheep grazes in a nearby pasture. The print is signed ‘G Moreland pinxt’ and ‘W. Bond sculpt’ in the plate. It is presented under glass with a french style mat in a wood frame with rounded corners. Sawtooth hanging bracket to verso.
