Carolyn Zimmerman was born in Walton, Indiana. She started her formal artistic training at the Cincinnati Art Academy and studied with French sculptor and painter Antoine Bourdelle as well as Madame Levy-Ginsborg in Paris. Zimmerman body of work primarily focuses on forested landscapes. Carolyn, along with her husband Carl Zimmerman, was a member of the Cincinnati School of Painters.
Condition
- minor amounts of dust to the plastic; minor amounts of denting to the corners of the matting; item has shifted slightly underneath the matting, leaving a small gap along the upper margin.
