Item Details
A vintage Probator, straight razor, and instruments. The metal ‘Probator’ is a tool designed for counting the revolutions per minute of engine shafts and motors. It is presented in a fitted wooden case. The instruments include a set of scalpels, picks, and other small tools presented in a small wooden case marked ‘Sharp & Smith Manufacturers of Surgical Instruments’. The straight razor features a molded Bakelite handle which appears to depict a man pulling a fish or eel from a body of water, with a metal blade marked ‘Sharp Cutlery Co. Germany 706’. It is secured inside a small leather case.
Condition
- blades have rust on them. Probator not tested. Wear to the cases.
