Antique Turkish Patch Box

Item Details

An early 19th century Ottoman Empire brass Palaska box. It belt worn, and was made to hold rifle cartriges. This shape was prevalent in the Balkans, the relief features a mounted Hussar battling a foot soldier with curved swords.
