A fine 19th century Tibetan combination flint striker & tinder pouch, essential equipment for starting a fire. Made from iron, leather & brass, the pouch would contain a flint to strike on the curved iron edge and tinder to catch the sparks. Traditionally work on a belt by nomadic people of the area.
