Antique Porcelain Mortar & Pestle

Item Details

A rare 19th century Edmé Samson chinoiserie mortar & pestle. It is hand decorated in rust with gold hilites, features two lanscape scenes, leaves and a red greek key on both pieces. Underneath it is signed in red with the standard Samson mark and the number ‘2’, presumably this was made in different sizes, this one being Size 2.
