Pair of Enamel Miniature Portraits
Item Details
A pair of enamel miniature portraits of religious figures. This oval pieces depicts two male figures with halos over their heads, dressed in voluminous robes and holding tablets and a pen within a blue background. Each miniature portrait presents an illegible inscription to the upper area of the composition. The works are presented without glass, beneath green velvet matting, housed in individual gesso and gilt wood frames.
Condition
- minor wear and minor dirt residues throughout frame; minor scratches to velvet matting; minor cracks and toning throughout compositions.
