A Chinoiserie Louis XV style bureau plat by Baker Furniture. This piece features a rectangular top with glass over leatherette inset panel including tooled edge overhanging apron sides and drawered front. The central drawer includes an escutcheon and is flanked by two taller drawers with decorative pulls and faux escutcheons. The piece is finished in a green tone and has gilded Asian inspired figural and landscape paintings decorating the front and aprons. The piece rises up on cabriole legs ending in slipper feet.
