Peter Koster Oil Painting on Board of a Harbor
Item Details
An oil painting on board by listed Massachusetts artist Peter Koster (1891-1978) . This depicts a harbor, with green fishing boat moored alongside a warehouse on the pier on the left, a smaller boat in the foreground. A sailboat is visible entering the wide estuary in the distance. This work is signed in the bottom right and presented in a carved wooden frame that is wired for hanging.
Condition
-slight yellowing to painting; board is bowed; small stain to upper right; minor wear to frame and liner.
