An oil painting on canvas titled Girl in Russian Costume by Russian artist, Maria Ballayeva. This painting depicts the portrait of a young girl dressed in a traditional red, floral sarafan dress and a sheer, embroidered veil. It is signed and dated by hand in Russian to the verso. This painting is presented without glass in a black wooden frame with gold tone trimming. - canvas has lost tension and is buckled; cracking to upper right and lower left of painting; minor wear throughout frame.
