A handwoven Turkish Style wool area rug by Renaissance. This wool rug features a red field with three central diamond medallions surrounded by smaller floral and geometric motifs. There is a main herati style border in ivory with a pair of guard borders showing colors of green, indigo, gold, and pale blue. This rug is finished with an overcast selvedge edge, and a natural wool warp ivory fringe. The underside is marked with a tag that reads, ‘Renaissance, Pattern 5502/Red, Pure New Wool Pile’.

Condition

- Condition is consistent with age and shows signs of light wear, slight fraying in on spot at edge noted.
