A pair of Chinese cloisonné matchsafes. Included is a lidded canister featuring a depiction of the Chinese folklore moon goddess Chang’e and her husband Houyi rendered in blues, whites, greens, and reds on a red-brown background with rose decoration and gold tone accents. Also included is a smaller lidded cloud shaped canister with a depiction of a dragon in gold tones on black with green accents. The dragon canister is marked with a gold tone stamp to the underside.
