Tom Lovell Framed Limited Edition Offset Lithograph "The Union Fleet Passing Vicksburg"

Item Details

A framed offset lithograph The Union Fleet Passing Vicksburg by artist Tom Lovell. Lovell (1909-1997) was born in New York City, but spent his life in the American southwest. He pursued many historical topics in his work. This particular print features a dramatic event during the Civil War on April 16, 1863 when the Union fleet passed directly in front of Vicksburg’s heavy artillery. Only 1500 of these were printed by Greenwich Workshop, c. 1989, and the original documentation comes with the print. It is triple matted in burgundy, orange and brown, under glass and framed in wood. Wired for hanging.
