A.C.F. Sevres-Style Hand-Painted Porcelain and Metal Candelabra

A Sevres-style ceramic and metal candelabra. This rococo-inspired piece features four sconces in cast bronze-tone metal. Lower portions of the piece are made of dark blue ceramic featuring an eigthteenth-century courtship scene and hand-painted flowers, scrolling acanthus, and other pictorial embellishments. The piece rests on a round, footed metal pedestal. It is marked on the side ‘A.C.F./Décor de Sévres/Fait a la Main’ for Artistiche Ceramiche Fiorentine, Florence, Italy.

Condition

- to fair; the candelabra leans slightly to one side; attachment is loose; faint scratches.
