Towle "Empire" Sterling Teaspoons and Other American Sterling Spoons

Item Details

A collection of fourteen sterling silver teaspoons. This includes an Old Colonial spoon, a Princess spoon, and two Empire spoons by Towle Silversmiths. These are presented with two Frontenac spoons by the International Silver Co, a rose blossom spoon marked for F.G Smith Sons & Co and a Mechanics Sterling Co. Easter Lily spoon. The lot also includes an antique Gorham Manufacturing Company spoon, a Reed & Barton La Reine spoon, and a Raleigh spoon by the Alvin Manufacturing Company. There is also a Charles M Robbins Yellowstone souvenir spoon along with a St. Joseph Academy souvenir spoon and a Michigan souvenir spoon by the Shepard Manufacturing Company. Some of the pieces have personalized engravings and each is marked ‘sterling’. The total approximate weight is 9.445 ozt.
