Chinese Cast Metal Lidded Censer with a Dragon Handle

Item Details

A Chinese lidded censer. This incense burner is made from a cast metal and has a dragon that is standing on his hind legs on the top of the bowl. The censer rests on three feet and there is intricate embossed detail to the entire piece. The underside has a cast Xuande reign mark, however, the censer was likely produced during the Republic era (1912-1949) or later in the 20th century.
