"Unicorn In Captivity" Handmade Reproduction Tapestry

A reproduction tapestry after the circa 1495 work, The Unicorn in Captivity which hangs in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This handmade piece appears to be made of wool with a cotton backing. The piece depicts a unicorn enclosed in a fence with a collar and an assortment of different flowers surrounding it. The back of the tapestry is marked in French, ‘Point de L’Halliun Tapisserie’ and signed by the artist.
