A watercolor painting on paper titled View from Temple Mills attributed to painter George Sidney Shepherd (British, 1784-1862), executed circa 1816. Appearing in excellent detail is a miniature landscape scene with lively pastures and a striking sunset in the distance. A group of small structures sits to the left of a wood bridge along the horizon. The clouds have separated to the left and right to reveal a fiery dusk sky. Encompassing the unsigned painting is a painted border. Presented with a white matting, under glass, and housed in a late 20th-century decorative frame with gilt sight and distressed antique look.
