Pair of East Asian Swords in Scabbards
Item Details
A pair of East Asian swords in scabbards. Features a Japanese katana with a curved single-edged blade marked with ‘8912’, ‘China’, and a triple-moon symbol; the sword also sports an etched brass-toned tsuba (guard) and a white cord-wrapped grip. The brown leather katana scabbard has a buckled strap and white cord wrapping to match the sword grip. Also included is a straight-edged Japanese sword, marked ‘Made in Pakistan’ to the single-edged blade, with a solid tsuba and a black and red cord-wrapped grip with a red tassel, and flat scabbard with similar black and red design and a leather hanging strap.
Condition
- cord wrapping on straight-edged sword and its scabbard are both loosening.
