A novelty clock globe, marked ‘©1979 Royal Geographical Society’ to the underside. The vintage clock is made of mahogany or other wood, featuring brass fittings on a square stand, which holds a porcelain globe that is marked with outlines of the countries of the world in gold. The 24-hour clock is a 15-jewel movement designed by Arthur Imhof of La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. It is designed to give the local time as well as the time in any part of the world.
