Jennings Brothers Silver Plate Dresser Box

Item Details

A silver plate dresser box by Jennings Brothers, Connecticut, model number 3163. This oval shaped box features a high relief scene and original blue velvet lined interior. Depicted to the top of the lid is a scene of a drawn horse and carriage along a road. The side panels to the base of the dresser box feature a repeating geometric motif with floral and leaf detail. The box sits on four tapered legs and is marked, ‘JB 3163 to the underside.’
