A vintage carved oak executive’s desk. This rectangular top piece with molded edges features a carved, acanthus leaf and scroll pattern to the three aligned frieze drawers over carved tableau panels of men at a table. There is an open leg compartment in the center and the desk rises on a molded base with bun feet. The right cabinet door opens to three sliding drawers. The back of the desk features a relief-carved owl surrounded by an acanthus leaf border over a shelf flanked by carved stiles.
