A framed etching by artist Jan Van Beers. This portrait of Mrs. Van Beers in formal wear with a top hat, monocle, and cane is signed both in the plate and by hand. The piece is presented in a wooden frame with a wire to the verso for hanging. The verso has a handwritten inscription which reads: ‘Etching of Mrs. Van Beers by Jon Van Beers for Mrs. Livesay same artist as did her portrait’.

Condition

Wear to frame, yellowing to print and mild foxing consistent with age.
