A Lillian Shao limited edition serigraph Midnight At Palace Court. This Art Deco inspired print depicts a woman ascending stairs through an opening of sheer curtains while two kneeling women hold the ends of her long sheer scarf. Shao utilizes embossed textures, metal foil, and gold tone ink to achieve the appearance of gold and jewels. The work is signed in graphite in the lower right and hand numbered LIV/LX (54 in an edition of 60). It is presented under glass with a custom cut layered mat in a black lacquered wood frame. Hanging wire to verso.

Condition

Good; shiny black veneer is coming loose at the upper left corner of frame. Two small scratches in glass to the upper center of piece.
