A framed oil painting on canvas board Early Spring: Ravens Run I by listed contemporary American artist Bill Fletcher. This work features a grass and rock landscape with trees in the background. With loose painterly brushstrokes and dashes of thick pigment, the artist provides a generalized impressionistic rendering of the subject. The painting is signed to the lower left and presented in a gold tone wood frame. Wired for hanging.

Based in Kentucky, Fletcher is mostly known for his landscape and still life paintings. Fletcher’s interest in drawing began through his adolescence education. While working in the Toxicology he still pursued his interest in drawing. In 1996, he began painting in oil, after attending workshops and studying with local artists. Fletcher’s work has been featured in Southwest Art, International Artist, and Keeneland Magazine.
