Artist Pottery Cookie Jars Featuring Toni Macri Reiner
Item Details
A pair of handmade ceramic cookie jars. Both have wheel-thrown bases with hand built details. The lot features a piece by Toni Macri Reiner in which the terracotta jar has been decorated to resemble a woman’s face with large ears and dangling earrings. The lid is made in the form of a sun hat with a painted ribbon and four yellow flowers. It is signed to the base and dated ‘00’. The second piece is a glazed stoneware jar with a teddy bear pirate on the lid eating cookies from his own small jar. A sign on the front reads ’Caroline’s Cookies’.
