A New Haven Clock Company Roman gladiator mantel clock. This Occidental clock and bronze spelter figure sit on a black lacquered metal base with ornate spelter feet and trim, circa 1895. It is an eight days, time and strike with an enameled iron face with visible escapement. It is marked to the inside back of the clock and ‘Dieller’. on the gladiator’s shield.
