Bavarian Porcelain Chocolate Pot With a Hand Painted Beaker
Item Details
A nine piece Bavarian chocolate set with a painted beaker. The beaker was decorated by a hobbyist china painter on a porcelain blank. The pastime was very popular at the turn of the century with many clubs appearing in all over the country. This piece is signed ‘N. Fravel’ to the underside. The chocolate set has printed floral medallions on a black ground with a gilded border. There are printed marks on the underside reading ‘Bavaria’.

- marks, wear and discolorations throughout; wear consistent with age and prior use.
