An oil painting on board by Jozsef Petró (born 1938). This depicts a late 18th century gentleman, dressed in lavender and mustard and sitting within an opulent interior. He glances at a gold disk through a magnifying glass. It is signed in the lower left and presented in a painted wooden frame that is wire for hanging. Please see lot 17STA053-534 for a related painting.
