Jozsef Petró Oil Painting on Board of a Wheelwright
Item Details
An oil painting on board by Jozsef Petró (born 1938). This depicts a late 18th century wheelwright, working within his workshop and crafting a spoked wheel. An idyllic mountainous countryside is visible through the window. It is signed in the lower left and presented in a painted wooden frame that is wire for hanging. Please see lot 17STA053-535 for a related painting.
Condition
- light edge wear to the frame; painting has white mold spots and dust- would benefit from cleaning.
