A maple desk with wall shelf unit. Constructed of solids and veneers, this small desk was manufactured by Brandt of Grand Rapids, Michigan. It features nine open cubbies, two drawers, and two louvered doors opening to a single storage compartment. The top pulls out to expand the work surface. It features one inset drawer with patinated brass batwing pulls and is raised on square tapered legs with a single U-stretcher. The wall shelf unit features a scalloped top rail over one fixed shelf, a paneled back and four louvered doors. It hangs by brackets to the verso. These items are located on the lower level of the home with walk-out access up an exterior flight of wide stairs; it will require assistance in moving.
