Item Details

An antique Davenport desk. The desktop has a medium oak finish with mahogany border inlays, with a flip-top pencil box on the top and a leather surface with gold-tone border scrolling; the top also flips up to reveal an interior space with three button-pull drawers and two pigeonholes. The main case of the desk has a mahogany finish; four hand-dovetailed drawers with button pulls line the right side of the cabinet, while false versions of the same line the left. The front of the desk has a crossgrained border, and the entire structure rests on metal casters.
