A pair of limited edition offset lithographs on paper after photographs titled Chief Regis and Showetit – Caddo from The Wanamaker Expedition of 1913 by artist, Leo Witz. These prints depict the portraits of Native American chiefs, one is depicted with a reflective expression on his face the other is depicted wearing a War bonnet. These prints are signed in-plate and by hand to the lower right corner. They are numbered ‘441/500’ by hand to the lower left corner. This selection is unframed and presented in a folder with printed literature to the verso.

Condition

- wear to the edges of both prints; center left edge of one print is crumpled; toning and surface stains to folder.

- measures paper; visible image measures 10"W x 13"H.
