Vintage Offset Lithograph Posters Advertising European Art Exhibitions
Item Details
A pair of vintage offset lithograph posters on paper advertising European art exhibitions. The first of these posters features a piece by Czech Art Nouveau artist and designer Alphonse Mucha (1860 – 1939), with text to the upper edge. The second piece reproduces a portrait of women from the Second Empire period in France, with text in white detailing the exhibition. Each print is presented unsigned and mounted to Masonite, with a clear plastic poster frame. Hanging loops are affixed to the versos.
Condition
- Mucha print has a horizontal crease across the center; the Second Empire print has damage to corners and edges, with some ink missing.
