A Karastan Serapi wool area rug. The machine made rug is fringeless and marked no. 729. The Serapi series is a Persian style rug, comprised of imported worsted wool pile and wool foundation. The rug features pleasingly repetitious design elements on an overall rust colored central field, surrounded by a navy border.
