German Made Cuckoo Clock with E. Schmeckenbecher Movement
Item Details
A German deer cuckoo wall clock. The clock has a wood box frame with a brown finish that is surrounded by wood leaves in relief and a central carved wood deer head. Other features of the clock are a pair of crossed rifles underneath the deer head, a small hinged door above the clock face, pine cone weights on chains and a wood leaf pendulum. The clock is marked to the face “Germany.’ The movement to the back is marked ‘E. Schmeckenbecher’ and ‘West Germany.’
