This lot offers a section of petrified wood that retains much of the original interior structure of the original tree marked ‘souvenir of ginkgo petrified forests Redwood’. Also included is a geode that displays an outer zone of banded grey and white cryptocrystalline quartz that grades inot a coarse crystalline quartz zone with subeuhedral quartz points projecting into the central cavity. No locality information is provided for the geode.
