An original abstract impasto oil on canvas by Luzon. The mid century piece is very stylized, depicting abstract figures and horses, with rich colors in high relief. It is artist signed in the lower right corner. Luzon is an American artist, born in San Francisco and studied art in Los Angeles under Ernest Cohen. These paintings of his from the 1960s were inspired by his fascination for archaeology. It is mounted is a floating wood frame with hanging wire to the verso.

- separation on frame corners; paper residue on top of frame; would benefit from cleaning
