A New York Yankees team signed bat. The baseball bat has ‘The Bronx Bombers 1998 World Champions’ with the Yankees logo on a colorful decal located on the barrel. The signatures included: Joe Torre, Tim Raines, Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, David Wells, Bernie Williams, Jorge Posada, Don Zimmer, Andy Pettitte, Paul O’Neill, Joe Girardi (JSA misprint his name as ‘Grandi’), Tino Martinez, Darryl Strawberry (JSA misprint with a ‘P’ instead of a ‘D’), David Cone, Shane Spencer, Mel Stottlemyre, Willie Randolph, Graeme Lloyd, Orlando Hernandez, Ramiro Mendoza, Ricky Ledee, Luis Sojo, Mike Stanton, Chuck Knoblauch, Jose Cardenal and Chris Chambliss. There are a few more signatures that are illegible. This bat was limited to only 98, this one is numbered 12/98. JSA has authenticated the signatures; their sticker is on the knob, a full letter included. The certification number is Z50631, a picture of the bat with a description can be found on JSA’s website. As stated on the bat’s barrel, the Yankees won the World Series in 1998 defeating San Diego.
