Semi-Antique Hamadan Hand Knotted Accent Rug

Item Details

A semi-antique Hamadan hand knotted wool accent rug. The rug enjoys an overall tomato red background populated with stylized flowers and palmettes in shades of forest green, periwinkle blue, chocolate brown and cream. The rug is banded in a major border in cream with floral meander pattern accented with foliate clusters, with two guard stripes to each side in periwinkle blue in a running water pattern. The rug is finished with short cream warp cotton fringe to both ends and overcast edges.
