Antique Conservo Portable Food Warmer

Item Details

A vintage Conservo portable steam canner / food warmer. This portable cooker / canner / steamer features a steam release vent tube to the back right corner, two hinged wooden carrying handles, and two doors opening to two wired shelves over a copper base. It is embossed “Conservo” to the top door. A metal pan is included. This item was manufactured by the Swartzbaugh Manufacturing Company of Toledo, Ohio circa 1930s.

Condition

- includes interior shelves, pan, and steam release. Some pitting and accretion. Door hinges are operational.
