A mixed media sculpture on board of a female head by listed American artist Dorothy McIntyre (American, 21st-century). This work features a female head protruding from a metal grid. The surface is partially covered by a landscape rendered with gestural brushstrokes in green, blue and yellow pigments. The artist’s name is inscribed to the verso. Presented without glass, housed in a wood frame with a blue painted finish.
Condition
- stains, dirt accretion, scratches and discoloration are present throughout the composition; wear, dents and paint loss from finish on frame; board is detached from frame on its upper area.
