Actors Rod Steiger and Buddy Ebsen Signed Photos

A pair of legendary actor signed glossy white and black photos, one index card. This pair includes (two) Buddy Ebsen, a Rod Steiger and a Buddy Ebsen signed plain white index card. The autographs were done in marker and have not been professionally authenticated by a third party. Buddy Ebsen was the first choice to play ‘The Tin Man’ in the 1939 Hollywood classic film, ‘The Wizard Of Oz.’ He severely became ill during the production and lost the role to actor Jack Haley. He also appeared in the 1963 classic movie ‘Breakfast At Tiffany’s,’ playing the older husband ‘Doc Golightly’ of Audrey Hepburn’s character. Buddy also stared in the 1950s Walt Disney television production of Davy Crockett, playing his sidekick George Russell. Epsen is best remembered as in the role of ‘Jed Clampett’ in the 1960s CBS hit sitcom, ‘The Beverly Hillbillies.’ Buddy passed away in 2003. Rod Steiger won an Academy Award For Best Actor in his performance as Police Chief Bill Gillespie in the 1968 blockbuster film, ‘In The Heat Of The Night.’ Rod also stared with Marlon Brando in the legendary film, ‘On The Waterfront,’ playing the mobster’s brother. The signed photos and index card are housed in a protective plastic sleeve.
