A signed hand-knotted Persian wool area rug. The rug features an arabesque pattern in a palette of sage, burnt orange, and navy on a cream ground. The rug has a complex, compound border featuring large stylized filler palmettes and a carnation meander on a burnt orange ground and natural cotton warp fringe to either end. Signed in the border and unlabeled.
