A limited edition copper sculpture by artist John Soderberg, titled Storyteller. This free-form sculpture depicts a pair of detailed hands making animated gestures, one of which clasps at a cracked walnut containing a fetus on the interior. The hands are decorated with Native American style cuffs, with tassels that drape towards its turned, stained base. On the cuff is an in-mold artist signature, date (1989) and edition, listed 30 of 36. This rests on a resin, columned pedestal featuring moulded foliate patterning to the surface.
