A mixed media composition on canvas of an abstract nude figure by listed American artist Ronald Ahlstrom (1922-2012). Composed of acrylic paint and layered paper, this work features a full-body frontal depiction of a nude female figure with her hands hanging in front of her. The figure is painted in yellow, illustrated with simple black outlines, and her head remains faceless. She stands in front of a blue background surrounded by a thick black border. Scraps of painted paper add an irregular textural quality to the overall work. The work is signed in gold-tone ink to the upper right and presented in a simple black wood frame. ‘Nancy Costa’ is handwritten to the stretcher verso.
